Clinical Education:
Clinical Preceptorship for Family Physicinas:
- UBC Enhanced Skills program R 3 position.
- VCHA Intense Preceptorhip for physicians working with their Health Authority. (one week of clinical placement per trainee)
- NP and Family Physicians Preceptorship sponsored by other health authorities *
- Trainees clinic placement to be determine by clinic availability and trainees needs.
- Inter-Professional Elective in HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care
- This is an undergraduate course in HIV/AIDS at the University of British Columbia’s College of Health Disciplines (IHHS 402) in collaboration with the BC-CfE.
- Community Based and Culturally Appropriate HIV and AIDS diagnosis and treatment
- The focus of this course from CMA is on providing physicians with resources to enhance their knowledge of the primary care of people living with HIV and AIDS, and to assist physicians in better understanding the diverse needs and considerations required to help the populations most vulnerable to HIV infection.
